Job Description:

The AM Social Media Marketing is responsible for assisting the CEO/Head of Sales & Sourcing in implementing Askari Shoes overall communications and digital marketing plan - focusing specifically on digital communications -- to build awareness about Askari Shoes within the community,to increase brand visibility.

  • Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest,Instagram, YouTube) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely,relevant, and engaging.
  • Assist with Askari shoes website product addition, updating as needed.
  • Coordinating and working closely with Head Office MIS &Digital Marketing Team.
  • Draft monthly e-newsletters to Askari Shoes subscribers.
  • Prepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of campaigns.
  • Keep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordingly.
  • Ensure proper messaging is being executed online.
  • Identify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in brand activities.
  • Any other duty assigned by management.
