Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role will be to provide support to the sales function by both Email / Telesales and Administration. Selling of international air freight, sea freight and road freight services. The successful candidate will also be providing support to our global offices including UK, USA, Canada and Ireland.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key responsibilities

 

  • Generating air, sea and road quotes and sending them to clients
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards problem solving.
  • Contribute effectively in a team environment
  • Follow up sales leads
  • Up sell services wherever possible
  • Create and maintain a relationship with both clients and prospects
  • Provide support to Intercargo's global sales teams and offices

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Equivalent

Experience

  • Previous internal sales experience
  • Ability to speak good, clear and concise english
  • IT literate
  • Freight Forwarding / Logistics
  • Awareness of the Freight Forwarding industry
