Role and Responsibilities
· Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
· Thorough knowledge of imports and related supply chain mechanism,
· Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project/end user.
· Advise internal and external stakeholders on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
· Planning, issuing and following up on daily operational purchasing needs such as Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
· Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
· Responsible for maintaining the overall database of vendors and also updating new vendor profile.
· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
· Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirementsUndertake any other Adhoc duties as assigned Education & experience · Graduate from a reputed university (Business Graduate in supply chain will be preferred).
· Should have working experience on ERP system for all matters related to supply chain and Inventory Management
· Should have sufficient working experience on physical Inventory Management
· Incumbent should have at least 2-3 years of project or end user procurement experience.
