| Job Description: |
- Review all invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approval.
- Entry of invoices and payments in SAP after 3 way matching.
- Ensure appropriate tax treatment to vendor based on applicable tax laws and exemptions.
- Prioritize invoices according to payment terms.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Coordinate with procurement department and banks for import related payments
- Record, track and adjust advances.
- Respond to queries of internal and external customers.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month end closing by recording of monthly accruals.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Provide relevant information and schedules to auditors.
- Work to continuously improve the payment processes of LUMS.
Work Schedule:
Business hours sometime extend into the evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of current workloads and event schedules.
