Job Description: |
As part of the Programmes Support Unit and under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Coordinator/Project Manager, the incumbent of the post will have the following responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate with Country Office HR team in Project staff recruitment
- Provide specific advice and guidance to employees on a variety of HR issues including employee relations issues
- Co-ordinate and support all aspects of the recruitment and selection process of staff ensuring good HR practice and transparency are adhered to
- Lead all recruitment process including development of JDs, recruitment planning, advertising and short-listing, selection interviews and tests, job offers, reference checks
- Participate in the interview panel for the selection of staff positions
- Coordination with candidates at different recruitment process like offer, contract and all documentation necessary for employee file
- Assist HR Coordinator in implementation of HR policies, performance appraisal, staff development
- Make sure that all project staff is properly oriented over QC policies
- Coordinate and arrange training of staff members as per donor budgets
- Maintain an effective HR database and filing system, with proper files maintained for each staff member, both manually and electronically while maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain a leave tracking system which allows HR to effectively manage leave for project staff as appropriate
- Maintain monthly attendance record of all staff and forwarded to Islamabad on a monthly basis
- Focal person for staff relations and grievance and disciplinary issues, responsible for the accurate and filling of all employee grievance/disciplinary issues
- Handle staff insurances and EOBI
