| Job Description: |
The Patient Care Officer is responsible for the day-to-day front desk & customer services of PMC. He is supposed to offer facilitation to patients in getting access to PMC Services.
The incumbent is expected to meet & greet patients, guide them on services mix, receive payments, issue payment receipts, guide patients on sample collection & reporting times.
Duties & Responcibilities.
- To greet patients and handle patient inquiries both face to face and on telephone.
- To provide prices information on medical services to general public and corporate clients
- To understand the laboratory prescriptions & order the tests accurately
- To receive service charges from patients as per standard rate list including issuing receipt and patient counselling on particular procedure
- To brief the patients upon reporting times
- To interact with referring physicians on phone for query handling
- To keep the reception and waiting areas neat & clean through effective utilization of housekeeping staff
- To register the patients by accurate entry of patient demographics in Hospital Information System
- To follow the standard corporate customer process flow for registration of corporate customers.
- To record each payment collection in concerned file to improve accuracy in cash collection
- To collect feedback from patient attendants and report to facility manager for service improvement
- To keep adequate marketing material at reception for patient education
- To read the prescription and issue payment receipts for all diagnostic services
- To collect the doctor’s data for market intelligence
- To use the electric appliances intelligently enough to keep operational expense within budget
- To keep the record of all expense occurred during his/her duty timings
- To observe the standard dress code policy essential to perform duty as Patient Care Officer
- To perform any other task assigned by Superviser Patient Care/Admin Manager/Chief Operating Officer
