Job Title: Xamarin Developer. Location: Karachi, Pakistan We are a fast-growing Internet company serving over 15,000 businesses in the US, Canada and Australia. Our development team is building a messaging platform for small to medium sized businesses using cutting edge technologies like real time communication, AI/NLP, streaming audio and video.
We are looking for an experienced mobile developer for our office in Karachi, preferably with hands on experience with Xamarin. Candidate should be a proactive problem solver, excellent communicator with a thorough understanding of full mobile application development lifecycle.
Ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Experience in software development .NET (C#) at least for 3-5 years;
- 2+ Years of experience in Xamarin, Xamarin-Forms, Xamarin-iOS and Xamarin-Android development is required.
- Good spoken and written English is required but for a candidate having exceptional portfolio we may even settle for less.
- Hands on experience of Xamarin-iOS and Xamarin-Android for creating native user interface.
- Understanding of mobile logging, error handling, and mobile application lifecycles
- History of successfully working with a distributed team
- Experience with a git-flow development process and good understanding of git as a source control tool
- Experience with a JIRA-based workflow
- Experience with web services, REST, and HTTP
- Experience with MSSQL and basic database querying
It’s a plus if you have the following:
- Xamarin Certification.
- Hands on experience of Android Studio or some familiarity with it.
- hands on experience of Swift/Objective C or some familiarity with it.
- Some experience with Java.
- Computer Science degree from a reputable College/University
