| Job Description: |
Local office of an Australian software development company in Karachi requires a Software Quality Assurance Engineer having at least 3 year of experience in web application testing to join its Karachi office.
The following skills are required:
- Developing Test Cases/Use Cases, Executing Test plans.
- Estimation, planning and control of QA activities.
- Logging and describing issues discovered during testing in bug tracking softwares.
- Interacting with developers to resolve issues discovered.
- Analyse test Scenarios/Test cases and creating Bug reports.
- Create and validate test environments & data for functional components of web/ windows applications.
- Web application cross platform testing.
- Good planning, organization and task management skills.
- Experience in automated web testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.
The successful applicant will report to the Development Team Lead - The applicant will initially be engaged on a contract basis with the possibility of full-time employment at the completion of the contract, working 40 hours per week, with flexible hours and a remuneration package commensurate with experience and skills will be negotiated. |
